A quick laugh escaped the stallion's maw, much unlike an emotional lockdown many would think the Rebel Leader would display. But rumours do spread quickly, and all too often actuality becomes distorted. There is nothing new to the concept. Few could accept that Adrian was no more a savage killer than he was a willow tree. Few could accept that Adrian actually had feelings and emotions, and that they could be harmed. Often, they had been. But he had a habit of returning the favour.

The auburn's answer was fabricated quickly, specially tailored to appease Dark Illusion's taste. Scruffy Adrian was the master of lies by also of truth. This tended to lead to confusion, not that it bothered the skinny bay at all. It is interesting that you even took the time to discuss this with me. You seem more alert to outside threats then some. A sly, drawing grin marked his facade. Do not get off onto the wrong tangent. My intentions are to merely preside over the Neutrals and the territories while leaving them to do whatever, except rebel. I want half of the territory leads to be Rebel loyalists. I do this for reasons I would never explain to you. Figure it out for yourself. Hint, I rarely find the means to offer charity. And don't think that I'll start now.
