Tilts her head slightly, a small smile pulling up one corner of her mouth. "That's an interesting way to look at it, but yes-I suppose that could be what you'd call the general jist." Pale orbs glimmer in the dim light, slightly amused, but more surprised than anything else at having an outsider be open enough to put aside stereotypes and listen to her pov. It may very well be an act, but at least she was trying, for the time being. That alone set her apart from most others. She knew that open friendship could probably never blossom from the situation this new acquaintance was in, but friendly tolerance was completely acceptable.

(OOC: Are you a debater? Just wondering, cuz I am, and other debaters are the only people other than myself who I have heard use the word "status quo" in everyday conversation. :D) (And sorry for the shortus maximus post, but our power keeps flickering out because of the sleet outside, and I hafta be brief.)
