Upon hearing the distressed whickers coming from the figure on the ground, the vixen melts back into the clearing, appearing from the darkness like a returning shadow. Lowering her head to comfort Ginger, one eye remains on the swiftly departing figure (s?) "They'll be back soon," she voices calmly, trying to assure the mare, hoping her assumption is right, for Gingerbread's sake. "Hang in there, it won't be long..." the soothing, low pitched whicker floats through the air, forced calmness instilled within the comforting tone. "Everything will be all right."
