� Bloody charcoal nostrils constricted and flared as the brute heaved his massive body up the last bit of sloping turf. His breath came out jaggedly and uneven, as though the titan had a bad case of asthma. But of course, he was rather exhausted, having traveled for many days to reach Dark Evergreens.

He had met the fiesty Firelight in the lands of appearance, and had immediately been taken with her. Of course, Het Vuur was taken with just about every mare he saw, being the closest thing to a gigolo a horse can be. But now he scented a stallion, the smell pungent and unmistakably that of an alpha. So Firelight had a mate? Het Vuur furrowed his brow, a little angry at Firelight and her stallion, whoever that was, for becoming eloped. Perhaps he would see into breaking them up later.

For now, however, the obsidian sahib would make himself comfortable in this place of greenery. Letting out a grunting sigh, he traveled down the hill he had been climbing and stopped at a shady patch of trees. Lowering his head, he began to snip of the emerald blades at his feet. He was tired and wished to sleep, though he didn't dare let his guard down in a new place. �
