I am certainly not a traitor to the Republic. The U.S. Constitution is clear on the matter “Treason against the United States shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.” None of the FCS countries are enemies of the United States. They are in fact allies of long standing. That is what gives the FCS-Anglosphere idea much of its appeal. Another source of the appeal is our common legal tradition which includes the law of treason.
