It seems that the main criterion for being judged a fascist nowadays is to possess an opinion which deviates significantly from the liberal-left's "progressive consensus". Unfortunately, this churlish reaction, coupled with an apparent inability to formulate articulate arguments to make their case in other ways, has resulted in a devaluation of the original meaning.
