In today's International Telegraph, the proposed question for the EU Referendum in Britain is posted. Here it is:

"Should the United Kingdom approve the treaty establishing a constitution for the European Union?''

This seems to be a clear and straightforward question. Now, it is up to UK voters to give it a big and clear NO. After that, we can move forward with our plans in the UK. A YES vote will kill us in Britain.

However, we actually get over a year of propaganda first. What we do not know yet are the rules regarding the interpretation of the vote.

A simple majority should not be enough to impose a new constitution on us (especially if there is a low turnout). It has to be a clear majority of the electorate voting in favour.

If that is the question which is actually asked of the British electorate (but don't bet on it), I and almost everyone else whom I know will be voting 'no'. Well, except for a few token lefties who think that French labour laws are a good idea, but most of them are half-European anyway.

I haven't seen any recent polls, but I can't imagine that support for this Euro-contstitution is even as much as 20% in the UK. Does anyone have recent figures?
