This term, President Bush will be even harder of a leader, and a lot more determined. It's funny to see that now Bush has won, all the international leaders are kissing his ass because he's the one they're going to have to deal with. A good move on their part, and I think it will work. Arafat before he died, said the Bush was a good choice to help in the peace process, even though Arafat was one of the obstacles in the road to peace. But it's good to see that everyone is finally coming to their senses. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |

Date Posted: 13:36:54 11/05/04 Fri Kevin: I was struck by your comment that "It's funny to see that now Bush has won, all the international leaders are kissing his ass because he's the one they're going to have to deal with. A good move on their part, and I think it will work." For me, one of the motivations for participating on this discussion and writing my book is the fact that I do not believe that kissing the ass of the leader of a foreign country serves my democratic rights and my country's ability to set its own priorities in the world. I think we can agree to disagree on this one. [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |
