Subject: 3 differents lengths = 3 different swing planes

Sorry for my English I am French.
I seriously play golf for 2 years.
After 6 months of practice I cutted the shafts of my irons 3,4,5,6 to equal length of 7.
It was a big success.
Then I discovered OneIronGolfSystem and I bought your clubs in June, 2015.
It was a big success too (thanks to you !).
My problem : Today on a par 5 hole, I play Driver then a fairway Wood and then an iron.
3 different lengths it's 3 different swing plane.
I bought your clubs to have only one swing plane.
How can I modify your fairway woods to maintain the ideal plan swing you're promoting !

Philippe,

All club lengths and club-head lie angles should be the same within each functional grouping of golf clubs. What you have to bear in mind is that there is a distinct difference in design function between irons, fairway woods, and drivers. An iron is designed to pinch the ball against the turf using a down and through type of swing which requires an upright swing plane and a descending swing arc into the ball. On the other hand, fairway woods are designed to sweep the ball from the turf which requires a flatter swing plane and, hence, a longer club length than an iron. A driver is designed to sweep a ball that is teed up 1" to 2" off the ground which requires an even flatter swing plane than a fairway wood and, hence, a longer club length than the other woods within a set.
