Varying weights within a set of single-length irons ruins the entire concept of single-length play. Not only will each club feel and play differently, but the shaft flex will change from club to club as well. You might as well stick to conventional irons with all of the built in variables that make them difficult to play.

The head weights are the same is my understanding. The article (which is confusing) was trying to say that a SL 4 iron head is heavier than a variable 4 iron head.... All the heads in the set weigh the same...

Further to my last post, it appears that the Cobra irons are the standard iron head bent to the same lie angle with weight added (Tungsten) or removed.

Meaning the offset varies and I would assume the bounce does as well.

So... Not a true SL set...
