Subject: demo day events

Mr. Lake,

I noticed you have used/demo sets available for sale. I'm curious to know when & where your next demo day events are scheduled. I'm still on the fence, and I think it would be nice to attend one of these events. I don't mind traveling, within reason.

Also, I appreciate that these clubs are made in the USA. Is your factory in Ohio? Do you offer tours to the public?

Thanks for all of the information you've shared with us. I really want to try these clubs. I guess it's just hard for me to buy something I haven't held in my hands or seen with my own two eyes.

We have not as yet finalized our demo day schedule for 2020, but most likely we will be concentrating on the east coast. Our production facility is in Ohio but, unfortunately, we do not have tours available. Bear in mind that a new set of golf clubs comes with a 30-day 100% money-back guarantee. You can beat them to death at your home course and at your convenience for a full month and at the end of that time if you simply don't like the color of the grips you can return them for a full refund.

I live in the UK. I have been looking at the Cobra Speedzone one length. Then I saw your web site. I like the look of the Blackstone. Can you tell me the difference if any between yours and Cobra's. Also how does the 30 day free trial work in the UK, who pays for the return shipping.

Cobra is a fine company but they have only been involved with Single-Length irons for 3 years whereas we have specialized in Single-Length play for over 20 years (you might say we wrote the book on it). Without being negative, I disagree with their approach to single-length golf club design, and here are just a few key reasons:
1) They do not do custom fitting which is imperative.
2) They do not spine align/pure their golf shafts.
3) The lie angle of their irons is wrong for 90% of golfers.
4) The shafts vary in flex throughout a set of irons.
5) They have varying loft angle progressions between successive irons - ours have an exact 4º loft angle progression between irons for precise distance gaps (ie: consistent 10 yard gap between irons).

When I researched these irons, I read EVERYTHING I could on them. I read all the remarks in this forum, David's book, and ALL of this web site. I took a leap of faith purchasing the Blackstone irons. What I mean by that, I purchased a demo set (no returns on demos). When I received them, they looked brand new to me. I was looking for consistency in my iron play and I wasn't getting it with my old irons. Too many variables. I am so happy with my new irons. I've gained more confidence in my iron play. I would highly recommend them. Also, you can't beat the customer service. Either David or Matt have always got back to me with any questions I had. Thanks guys!

I have been playing a long time, at my best two handy cap and now 30 years later 12 to 18 depending on the day weather who knows. I am nearly 6'7" tall and I know that doesn't affect some but for me clubs have always felt extremely different from the 3 iron to the PW. Is there a way to try these clubs anywhere? If not what is the price range?

For anyone who wants great customer service, you are in the right place. These guys are NOT salesmen. They are golfers who in my opinion, just want the best for their customers. I am very impressed with their calls and emails to me, and I haven't even bought a set yet. But, I an going to, and a set of Blackstone irons. Hope this helps anyone on the fence of purchase.
