Subject: ball center of gravity

hi David, in your golf ball comparison section you mention the check-go to find center of gravity. I bought one .I found that when you marked the ball the first time , take the ball and turn it 90 deg. to first mark the 2nd mark never follows the first mark. I use tour quality balls I have found the salt water method much superior. any thoughts on this?

The only time I have seen this happen is when the golf ball's center of gravity is pretty much centered.
