Subject: Grips

Grips that came with my proline irons are to large. If I replace with midsize grips will the change effect the club performance?

Changing the grips will not affect the performance of your irons whatsoever.

Thinking of changing grips on my wife’s 1 iron set. What is the butt diameter of your shafts? Will . 58 grips be smaller on your shafts or .60? I’ve read that putting .58 grips on .600 shaft will actually be larger than .60 grips. Thank you,

Scott,

We only install our 1/8" oversize (jumbo) grips on our golf clubs. You should replace them with a standard size grip with a .60" core for your wife. You are correct, installing a .58" core grip on our .60" butt diameter shaft will actually make the diameter of the grip larger.
