Subject: single plane swing
I'm a little confused that with my Blackstones. I'm to setup with the ball position in the middle of my stance and with the upright posture, which brings the ball closer to the body. It's mentioned we can use the single plane swing, but If I were to use the single plane swing, I would have to move the ball position further away, so should this swing not be used?

Tim,
We recommend a shoulder width stance, a center of stance ball position, and an upright swing posture regardless of the swing method employed. 1 Iron Golf clubs are not method specific and are played and recommended by conventional PGA instructors as well as single-axis, PPGS, Stack and Tilt, and other swing method instructors and advocates. Regardless of the swing method or address position used the ideal position of the body, wrists, and arms are identical at the point of ball impact. Simply put, it is not important how you get to the ideal impact position as long as you end up in the ideal impact position. To give a perfect example, Jim Furyk has the most unorthodox swing in golf yet at impact he is in the exact same position as Tiger Woods, Fred Couples, etc., and is the reason that he plays so well on tour. Consequently, since 1 Iron Golf clubs are built to your ideal club length in relation to the optimum club-head lie angle based upon the ideal impact position they will produce enhanced ball striking no matter what swing method is employed. Something to bear in mind is that since all of your 1 Irons are the same length you need to use the exact same ball position with each one (center of stance) and disregard any other instruction on ball position since these instructions pertain to conventional varying length golf clubs.

Ramesh,
Unfortunately, we do not make junior size golf clubs.

How does the positioning of ball pertain to the fairway woods, and driver? Since the length is longer does it need to be moved up in stance from the center.

Brian,
The driver should be played off the left heel (R/H golfer) and teed high. The fairway woods should be played a little forward of center.
