Hi all,

Here are some of my choice moments during the trip:

- Watching the excitement of those who competed in Scotland for the first time.

- The Grade 4 band competing at the Worlds and marching out both happy and accomplished.

- Taking 1st in the Drum Majors at Bridge of Allan.

- The Grade 3 band winning Marching & Deportment at North Berwick.

- Two of the judges having the Grade 3 band in the prize list at the Worlds.

- Hearing about how many folks were missing shower curtains in their dorms yet had strange bedding at the same time.

- Placing bets on how long Conner could go without having to use the restroom. Who had 2.9 minutes?!?!?

- Seeing the several dozen ways the RSPBA spelled "Mesa" on crit sheets and admin paperwork over two weekends. Mesa, Meesa, Maysah, Mensa, Meessa, and so forth...

- The SLOT concert

- Fire alarms. Okay, not really.

- Our bus driver. Homie can DRIVE!!!!!! He's got mad skills to do a turnabout in the middle of a street that's narrower than the width of the bus itself.

That's the start of my list.

Kev
