It seemed that he may have been right, afterall. Valda had no true knowledge of what drove her brother to be this stark raving mad idiot murderer. It could be the fact that father hated her and that he had sent his toy soldier to do the dirty work for him. Or it may be that Kael just out rightly loathes her. Or maybe�the list went on and on. �Well, I still say that he�s been brainwashed or something like that. He wasn�t like this before when I left. He was just really funny. I remember him and all of his jokes. Now, when I see him, he�s a machine. It�s like he�s not even my brother anymore�.� Perhaps the thoughts that came to him easily came to her with some difficulty because the fact that her brother, the only one who had actually cared about her, was trying to cause her bodily harm and/or death.
