At his movement to the window and his confession of absuing himself, valda was silent. Her eyes were full of salty tears, but suddenly, they wouldn't fall. Her mood changed and she tried to resist the familiar feelings in her heart. Those feelings: hatred, loathing, and strangely, a calm that couldn't disturb her. She fought these off until it was useless. The voice--her voice--spoke to him. "What you think you did to Valda, you did that to me. I'm what she used to be. I'm the one who protected her from her brother when he was crazy and murderous. I care about her. She's my other half, literally. I know all her feelings, which is something you'll never be able to do. In short, I'm in the position that you want to be in. You want to know her every wish, you want to make her happy, you want her to love you. Ya know what, bad-ass? It ain't happening any time soon. It's not even going to happen at all. She doesn't love you--SHUT UP!!!!" Valda interrupted her own sentence. The voice was fighting, but with an inner smirk. The softer side of the fae was now in reality and thinking about all the other fae had said. "Discord...What she says, if it's all true, then maybe we shouldn't be...you know. together anymore. Maybe it's for the best." With this last word, she turned away from his gaze and tried to hold the freeze-frame statuesque form that she had before.
