I have used both Sympatico High Speed and Extreme Cable.
We do not recall having any problems at all with Cable. My only concern was that I always had the same ip address, which made us vulnerable to the Net Buster Hacking Program that reformatted my entire system. It was nightmare to fix. I'm using sympatico right now, and my only concern is that sometimes I cannot get online, so I have to turn my sympatico alcatel modem off at the base, and restart it. It's not a big deal, but it happens every once in awhile.
The speed is good.
The one feature with Extreme that is better than Sympatico, is that you can have more than one computer hooked up to Extreme Internet, but Sympatico does not allow that.
