I was reading in one of those science rags you buy on the local mag rack that the moon, I seem to remember, is getting closer and closer each year.

I seem to remember reading where the orbit of the moon is deteriorating a little bit each year. And that will as it gets closer will effect the earths tides causing higher tides as its gravity is felt more and more.

However its not a danger to OUR generation because the rate of decent is definately NOT enough that we shoud witness the colision of earth and moon.

Jell PROBABLY the Sun will have swallowed up the earth and turned it into gasious vapor long before that happens.
