for the first 300 mile leg, and non-laced for the balance. Guess what? Same speeds, same freeway terrain, same everything, except mileage. With ethanol I got 18.2 mpg, without ethanol I got 22+. Looks to me like the first 20% reduction in pollutions is needed just to balance out the added amount we must burn. Gives new meaning to the term Boondoggle!
