the american consumer should always remember that the cost of overhead and raw materials are ALWAYS passed on to the final customer.

IF the price of animal feed goes up SO WILL the price of the chicken and steak.

Mini wage goes up SO WILL the cost of the hamburger and everything else--people above mini wage will DEMAND more just so they will not drop back in income, financially economic advantage must be maintained.

ALL costs are ultimately passed on to the final consumer.

Thus your statement is correct. The higher price of feed and the cost of transportation will be passed on to the final ultimate end user consumer.
