Since nobody else is going to post, I might as well!

Well, seeing that point, you can question the very nature of "what is a mistake?" If it a cognizant regnition of something that you wish could have been altered? What if you've done something that is horrid without even your conscious awareness -- is that a mistake? AND! If you believe in a deity, namely God or Allah, truly there are no mistakes.

Now if there are no mistakes this leads to the question of punishment and culpability; because if everything if for a reason then it is just as logical to say that everything that anyone has done is sanctioned under the rule of: "World necessities, predestined and imperative actions." Should a murderer be punished severely if their action will ultimately provide a symbol for something besides the degeneration of the human psyche? Why should the murderer of Archduke Franz Ferdinand be punished if his actions, indirectly, caused the rise of America as a world power?

I may submit that "we have to live in the present" and must make people accountable for their actions not in retrospect but "in the now." And if we live in the now... are there mistakes?

I'm not sure, I think I've just confused myself with all the jargon I've added to this topic.

Forgive me fellow classmates. I'm not going to even bother to re-read what I've written.

Language seems to be the main method to express ourselves but language hides as much as it reveals I suppose.

Done.
