Unfortunately the decision has been made by the captain, and the committee has decided that any decision on competition entries is the perogative of the captain. Therefore, baring U-turns, there will not be a Cambridge team in the Team Match at Warwick - only a few couples in the opens. Last I heard it was three standard couples and no Latin couples, so even if we did the team match we'd be fielding a funny setup, but that isn't the point. Captains decision final. I don't think she reads the board that often anyway, so trying to persuade her here isn't going to work. You could always write to the captain directly, I think I'll get shot at dawn if I post contact details for our executive committee on the board, but you're all bright cookies. Anyway, the only way we get to do the team match is if someone needs some bodies, so is anyone looking for a few standard couples? Does anyone have a problem with a few Cambridge couples joining another team for the team match? We would all like the opportunity to compete - it's my last year, and I for one don't want to miss a uni circuit comp.
