He just growled at his daughter and tickled her sides before she ran off - figuring he would save his fussing about her and boys until she was a little older and he would truly need all the energy he had to convince her that boys did actually have cooties. When the two little girls disappeared, he stood slowly from the couch and wandered over to where the two women were chatting. He kissed Kay's cheek briefly, and then hooked his arm around Cassie's shoulders, shaking his head with a slow grin. "Cassie made me so see some dumb chick flick with her. She <i>made</i> me. It was brutal..." He gave his girl a squeeze though to reinforce that he was just teasing, and winked playfully. "I don't blame the guy... You're looking lovely these days, Kay.
