Subject: "It being a lot of work is also just part of the experience though. I think it would be fun to live on campus, do all the college-y type things..." She shrugged a little, looking baack up at the ceiling. Most kids her age were out partying, excited they could drink legally and worrying about whether or not they were going to pass chem. She was worrying if she would be able to pay off Kesi's school fee's and still have enough to cover bills and the only thing she really celebrated was when her daughter got a gold star on a paper or when Josiah took a few steps on his own without falling down.

It's always so close then you pull it away
And anything goes then it goes astray
And what are you left with at the end of the day
It's all love, it's all love, it's all love

  • "Yeah, it is... And it would be fun to do the college-y sort of things..." There were a lot of things that he didn't participate in because of the girl and the baby and the tight money and the lack of time. On a day-to-day basis though, he was content and happy - it was just every once in a while that he got thinking about things. He watched her for a moment longer before looking back to the coloring book he'd been working on with Josiah, absently picking up a crayon to work at it some more. He knew that she deserved more than she had, but he also knew that he brother was trying very hard to give her everything that her and the kids could need or want...
