She heard him come in from where she was curled up in bed and after debating it for a few minutes she made a decision and shifted, shedding her clothes on the floor of their bedroom. Quietly, she padded into the bathroom and slipped in behind in the shower, her hand slipping over his bare shoulders. "Hey..." She murmured softly, leaning forward to brush her lips against his back, closing her eyes as her arms wrapped around his waist and folded over his stomach. His eyes had been tightly shut as he stood beneath the heavy stream of water, so he was a little surprised when he felt her touch and heard her quiet voice - a soft breath catching in his throat. His fingers curling around her arms around his waist, his head tipped back a little and his hands squeezed gently at her wrists. "Nah, Cass, I'm sorry..." He murmured finally, quietly, and ducked his head forward a little. His eyes remained shut and he still didn't turn to face her, just letting the feeling of her petite, soft body near his sink in. He had done such a terrible thing and now being back here with her again he didn't even know why - when he was with Mal, he could think of nothing else, but now he didn't understand any of it.
