Subject: What Else? An idea and a question for SCUBRONCS
In reply to: Bronco66 's message, "Hey --- Life ... on the Road" on 00:21:57 02/27/04 Fri

I'm curious about what other issues (besides his daughter in law's tragic illness) DD had to deal with over the last few years. Any one know? Is it having Levick leaning over his shoulder? A thought... given KB's inconsitency and the play of JR, Do you think it might be worth putting Bailey back on the bench, inserting Legge and going big? I know that the front line of Legge, Dennison and Niesen is not particularly quick, nor does it have much perimeter game, but our perimeter game has neen incosistent all year anyway, and Niesen is showing more willingness and abilty to hit the open 10-15 foot "j". As I've said earlier, maybe KB would be more effective as a 6th man rather than the starting point.
BTW SCUBRONCS... anything new on the recruiting front? I know the staff won't give names, but any info re: what region/city they're looking for the JUCO center? Let's hope we see more from the team at the Kennel farewll than we did against the &^$#* Gaels. Go Broncos

the odds makers have SCU -24.5 (no other game today is worse than -10.5)

Pomeroy's computer has SCU -23

The all-time series between Santa Clara and Gonzaga is tied at 28-28, but the Bulldogs have won each of the last six meetings, and seven straight over the Broncos at The Kennel. The Zags claimed a 79-63 win at Santa Clara in the first meeting between the two this season.

the fairly good Sports Network Predicted Outcome: Gonzaga 82, Santa Clara 65 (who are these guys??) (that's 17)

poor ESPN .... but we know the Broncos play the ZAG's (usually) tough ... it will depend on which Bronco team(s) show up tonight ... my guess ... the atmosphere in the Kennel will cause them to bear down ... just a little ....
its either the Blow out ... or a REALLY good game ....

and it's all practice for the final?? game at Leavey ...
