Life??? ... on the Road -- the Saga Continues ... -- Bron, 16:07:11 02/28/04 Sat
the odds makers have SCU -24.5 (no other game today is worse than -10.5)
Pomeroy's computer has SCU -23
The all-time series between Santa Clara and Gonzaga is tied at 28-28, but the Bulldogs have won each of the last six meetings, and seven straight over the Broncos at The Kennel. The Zags claimed a 79-63 win at Santa Clara in the first meeting between the two this season.

3 out of 4 -- Bronco66, 21:12:08 02/28/04 Sat
we beat the spread ... (odds - 24.5)
we beat the computerer (KenPom.com -23)
we beat SportsNetwork.com (-17)
we lost to Gonzaga (-16)
so go you Broncos ... and DORON from DOWNtown !!! Whoa!!!
lots of nice props from ESPN2 and hearing that "Santa Clara is one of the finest academic institutions in the country" (or words to that effect) should warm the cockkels of Fr. Prez's heart ... (and nice words about Double D as well)
so in what could have been a disaster ...was a good
"scrimmage"
Dennison had some nice numbers ... and looked much better out there ... perhaps the shell shock is beginning to wear off ....
Travis again looked tough ... and the shot to Rony didn't look cheap ... but did look like he wanted it ... good for him ... an no foul (so no harm???)
it on to the tournament ... a 5 seed and USD in the opener followed by USF ... and then the 3peat??? with Gonzaga ...
a chance for the team to finish at .500 ... and get ready for next year ...
