Subject: Congratulations

Congratulations to the players and coaching staff for a good season and a great (almost spectacular) WCC tourney. The team and staff labored under a difficult situation and never quit. The loss of Howell was a shame because he worked so hard and gave so much. We would have all liked more W's in the league season, but a strong finish is important and sets you up for the next year. The league will be better next year with only the Zags dropping off a bit, and that's only a maybe. A good nucleus of players coming back who should be confident that they can compete with anybody. Just have to figure out a way to eliminate those big scoring droughts that killed us in so many games. If we can add the quality JC player that's being talked about (and if he can pick it up as fast as Perkins did), we will be especially tough.
