Hard to find complete stats on Tristan or the Coffeyville Ravens ...

but like you say 6ppg in JC is not a lot ... must be some reason the coaches were willing to go to Kansas for a player

from what I can find it appears that Tristan was mostly??? a role??? player (non-starter with about 10-12 minutes of PT) he did have multiple double-digit scoring games (at least four) and led or shared scoring honor on at least a couple of occasions ... on a couple of occasions he scored the go-ahead baskets in come-from-behind wins ...

at 6-8 he was the tallest member of his team so I would imagine his "role" at SCU will be different than at Coffeyville ... which did place 5th in the National JC tourney ... so this was no slouch team he was playing on ... and behind slouch players

I am guessing that there is more here than 6ppg and 5 fouls it appears his numbers are about the same as Jim Howell's in about half the time (the only negative were the about 3 PF's per game in limited minutes) ... I would say that is something that was part of the role ... or the reason he didn't get as much PT ... in either case that might be part of what needs to be worked on ... but personally I would prefer to have a Travis back down a bit than try and "teach" someone to be more aggressive ... if he can produce say 12ppg & 8rbs in 20-25 min that would be very nice
