It's obviously just an exhibition game, but If memory serves we haven't won one in a few seasons.I'm hoping Howell's minimal minutes were because of the 4 fouls. If he boards like last year and Legge plays like he did tonight and the last few games of last season, we might have enough up front to be competitive, especially if Niesen and one other big asserts himself and stays healthy.

Well Monday I get to see for myself ....

Going to Maui ... and will try to report back ...

the Game Recap is up ...

Santa Clara played without the services of Ethan Rohde and Scott Borchart, who missed the game due to injury.

and it look like Perkins had the 4 PF's .... Howell only 2 .. Double-D likes to see how his options ...

I see that they played with the Int'l 3pt line and trapezoid lane ... which might explain the low 3pt numbers and the offensive rebounds ...

but good practice for Maui ... where it says the same rules will be in effect ....

Apparently Rohde took an elbow to the grill in practice, splitting his mouth open. The star crossed Mr. Borchart has a broken hand and is out for a month or so. So the injury train keeps chuggin' down the track.
