Hi, I'm visiting from Mississippi. Mississippi State is playing at Santa Clara this weekend. What can we as fans expect from this game. Thanks,

I would expect to win. If our point guard and star, Kyle Bailey is back and 100% or close, we could make a game of it. We'll play physical and smart, an approach that works well against better teams like yours but is too controlling for opponents who are no better than us. Jim Howell, our center is only 6-8 but has great hands and can rebound with anyone. I'm not too worried about you being bigger than us, again we are tough and smart. But Mississippi State's althleticism will likely lead to a win.

You beat us in the NCAA one year if I remember right when Dampier was there. We had a good team with Steve Nash being the star. Though that may not have been our very best year that was a good team.

Thanks for the response. I'm looking forward to listening to the game on radio and it's more enjoyable knowing what to expect from the other team, who the stars are, etc. I was hoping it might be televised being an intersectional game. I notice that SC has rarely played zone defense in the past. Go to the game and you might see your team play some zone. Most opposing coaches seem to put zones in for us due to our good post play. Mississippi State has dominated its opponents at times and has beaten seven quality teams thus far. Santa Clara, has also beaten some sturdy competition, but only at home. Tonight's game should go down to the wire, with the Bulldogs' big men carrying them down the stretch.

This was absolutely our toughest game of the year.
