Subject: Broncos beat Pepp

Starting Niessen, Kargbo,Howell, Rohe and Cord Anderson, The Btroncos beat a good (but undermanned) Pepperdine team 73-61. Howell went for 19 points and 8 rebounds and actually held a lead. Maybe the corner will be turned sooner than I thought. Althimer and Borchart also did a good job.

I don't get to many games but I thought we looked good today. We were not as athletic as Pepperdine but played smarter. This is the way that (at the beginning of conference season) I had expected us to play. I suspect that if we had we would be better than 3-7 now.
