Despite the big free throw misses last night, one thing has been seriously lacking that was a constant of past Dick Davey teams...Defense. While the games are entertaining, this year's Broncos have allowed quite a few opponents to light up the scoreboard. In previous posts, we have complained about offense. But that seems to be the least of our problems. We too can light up a scoreboard when you have three players that average over 15 points per game. But when you're on the losing end of quite a few high scoring affairs, you start to wonder what happened to those hard-nosed defense clubs that DD used to throw out on the court. There goes another two cents I've thrown in. Disgruntled out!

Shooting 3 for 11 from the field in OT and allowing the Waves to shoot nearly 50% for the game had at least as much to do with the loss as Henke's misses. I do agree that he'll be a big contributor in the future, especially if he (like Denison) can get stronger. The Loyola game looms very large now. Senior Day- bye likely on the line- 2 tough road games ahead. They need to suck it up(and hope the LMU loss impacted the Lions more than the Pepp loss damaged the Bronco psyches).
