If you take the text literally, yes, it appears that Masters dancers can argue that they should be allowed to dance in adults.

It is, however, rather obvious from the context that those who placed in youth championships are supposed to dance in Masters, regardless of the inability of the syllabus authors to properly formulate their definitions.

But this is Irish dance, and as they say, trophy hunters will trophy hunt. 🤷‍♀️
