Subject: Thank Christ my daughter is quitting

SRO was our last straw. Judging will never improve, dresses and wigs will only continue going up in price. TCs will get even more elitist and egotistical. Last weekend was all my daughter needed to see to finally be done with it all. She said she was actually embarrassed to be part of it all. Friends and family look at the pictures and are put off by the hideous fashion and are still tickled that my daughter puts up with it all.

There are no life lessons to be learned from Irish dance that couldn’t be learned from any other activity for 10x less money and with 100x less drama and pain. So sick of hearing our TC talk about all these life lessons and the importance of getting through high school while still dancing. Mmmh daughter told me she cannot wait to have even just her last semester of school without dance to stress her out.
