there will NEVER be a satisfactory consensus. it's impossible

the adult issue is IDTANA. the various regions are happy with their own way of doing things and don't want to compromise to the ways of another region. this is no different from an issue facing any large group of people.

the gender issue is no different. there is no possible way everyone will be happy. there is no possible way for fairness for all. and every time someone is labeled phobic or a bigot, it separates the divide even further.

people have suggested an open category but not every trans person will take that route so it won't solve anything. it's not practical.
