Absolutely 100%. ID is totally subjective and privileged to begin with. This one competitor is not the issue. There have always been unfair advantages based on things like income and the ability to access out side training, private lessons, dance camp. Things that most podium dancers do regularly. Do all? No. But most, yes. So while those kids have access to all of those extras, other dancers just keep dancing and trying. Some quit, some keep going. Blaming this one competitor is just scape goating and misguiding finger pointing in what was already a ridiculously privileged environment.
