Our TC mandates that championships dancers compete throughout the year so that they're always at a competitive level and have plenty of practice in a competitive setting. A few of our school's richer families travel out of state for competition but we don't have that luxury so we stay in Texas and put up with the Inishfree feises.

I have no problem with a competition mandate. We understand it and have agreed to it. But I hate that our school gets completely ripped off every time we go to an Inishfree feis. All we've ever wanted is fair and honest competition. We can put up with the crazy dresses and wigs and everything else, but the cheating has worn us down. I'm hopeful that this @tattletreble instagram page will ignite some sort of change that the CLRG has been unwilling or unable to initiate.

I'm not thrilled with the snarky/gotcha/pettiness of the @tattletreble page, but I'll take anything that further exposes the corruption. We deserve access to this information after having spent tens of thousands of dollars over the years only to find out we haven't been given a fair shake.
