No requirement at all to buy Gavins. Plenty of our dancers did very well wearing Elite and Doire dresses —including multiple WQs—and plenty of dancers who did not recall had Gavins. With the cost of dresses and the size of the school, it would be foolish to not borrow/sell old dresses once they’re outgrown.

Many people who transferred to the school already had deposits down at other dressmakers, and they still did well. The dress does not make a dancer, the training they get does.
