Taiwainese stars once penetrated into the entertainment circle of mainland, raising a wave of fears among the mainland actors/actresses. Unbelieveably, while the "heat of Twainese stars" reamined in mainland, many mainland actors/actresses raised "heat waves" in Taiwai, thus causing a battle between the stars from mainland and Taiwain. After [Huan Zhu Ge Ge] made Zhao Wei famous and [The April Sky] made Zhou Xun known, other mainland actors/actresses, such as Lu Yi, Chen Kun, JiangQingQing,,etc because the new generation of idoles that is constantly in the spot light.

[Love & Rain], QiongYao's new actors/actresses charges forward

Qiong Yao's work is known for using new actors/actresses. After the success of [huan zhu ge ge], Qiong Yao used 9 more new faces from mainland. She will be focusing her effort to promote actresses such as Zhao Wei, Shui Ling, etc. In her up coming TV series [Love & Rain], there will be new faces such as Gao Tao, LI you. etc.

Gao Tao graduated from Beijing Filming School, but Li You grduated from Shanghai Drama school. Because Gao Tao's mother was the main teacher in charge of Li You's class, these two met before the show. In [Love & rain], Gao Tao & li You act as a pair of lovers. In order to nourish their feelings for each other in the show, they often eat dinner together, thus their feelings for each other is deep. During filming, the producer even told them to act out kissing scenes to show as an example to Zhao Wei and Lin XinRu.
