Buster
The Stranger

You may never understand
How the stranger is inspired
But he isn't always evil
And he isn't always wrong
Though you drown in good intentions
You will never quench the fire
You'll give in to your desire
When the stranger comes along

Don't be afraid to try again
Everyone goes south
Every now and then
You've done it why can't someone else?
You should know by now
You've been there yourself

Boring as the colour white. The conversation was a one-worded affair. He actually considered getting right back up, leaping down from the dumpster, and crawling off to search for more lively affairs. But then again, perhaps this was just a bit mildly interesting. There was room for improvement. However, asking too much for the impossible is futile. Dark eyes narrowed themselves, as if suddenly suspicious. There was room in the alley to be furtive. But was there enough room to be extremely furtive. Probably. After all, Buster had done fine work in the craft before. A tongue grazed quickly over the male's aging muzzle. Some bitches were out to hook and destroy. Distaste and a fair amount of paranoia cued a primeval drive.

It is true, advanced age had softened the Rottweiler's outlook on life, much to his chagrin. The razor sharp edge he had maintained thoughout his triumphant alley reign had dulled practically to nonexistance. But Buster was skilled enough to fill in the gap. Plus, the reddish-toned female didn't know him, so he really did not have to live up to any set standard. It was tiring to think of anything otherwise.

Some call it arrogance, while others call it self-preservance. But the black and tan terror dug deep into the subject he wanted to address.. even if he did so with only one word. At least it fit with the general theme. "Peace?" Dogs together were strong, but dogs who stood alone were weak. A mutual agreement was needed between the two. Could they pass eachother in the streets with civility or would they constantly be at eachother's throats?

The streets can be are always cruel.
