She stared at his open palm, then looking down at her own hands. In one, the knife still resided, but the one closest to him was free. She bit her lip still not decided, then opted to reach out and take it. She looked up at him before lowering her eyes. Of course her mom had sent him. Which wasnt really a bad thing, but she hated men getting close to her mom. Her mom had been hurt alot. The whole family had been hurt. Alison didnt like men, she hadnt trusted any of them after her dad hurt them all so much. But this one seemed to care, or if not that, pretended to. Of course that didnt mean she was going to let her guard down. At least that was the plan.
