Subject: Today was the end of the Gabrielle/Al relationship:(

Today was incredibly sad for me because I knew it was the final scenes we'll see of the great mother/son relationship that is Gabrielle and Al. I took in every look, every word, every breath between those two as they were lying there together. It would be their last time together:( I HATE THIS:( When Gabby got up and walked to the door and turned around to look at Al and then gave him a big thumbs up, I sat and bawled. She turned and walked away to get prepped thus making it the final time she ever sees Al alive. When Gabby wakes up and comes out of this ok after almost dying, Al will already be dead so this was it for Gabrielle. The others will reunite with Al tomorrow for a bit but today was mothers last day with son and I am so SAD!!! I can't believe they are killing Max and Gabrielle's child and Gabby's only child. This is so not right.

Aww, babe!! It's going to be OK, because Gabrielle is going to be happier knowing that she at least tried to save her son. Like she said (and I agree) if she knew she could have done something and didn't, she'd be worse off.

But who knows, maybe Al won't be Gabrielle's only child after all... *wink*

OMG, I thought that exact same thing when I watched that scene over and over. That thumbs up got to me, too. It's so very sad and wrong. I wanted to see Al walk her down the aisle. I'm at least happy that Al knew that his mom would be happy with Bo. And poor Marcie. She'll be losing the love of her life:( It's unfair and we, the fans, didn't have a say in this, which is a shame:( No one wanted Al to die and NM to leave the show. The month of Gabtember will be sad, but GREAT in the material that the GREATEST ACTRESS in DAYTIME, Fiona Hutchison, was given to delivered with such emotion and belief. I totally believe everything FH puts out on the table for Gabrielle!!! She's one of a kind!
