Hi Metro,

I personally find message archival to be important. That's what I liked about the InsideTheWeb board. When I first found it I was able to read back to the very first post.

I left town for over 2 months shortly after we moved to the boards2go board and when I got back I found that a good number of the old messages that I hadn't yet read had already been removed. The boards2go board seems to only hold approximately one month worth of posts.

And then on top of that, the boards2go board got corrupted somehow and the remainder of the messages got deleted too. So that's over 2 months of posts that I missed. It happened once on that board and it can happen again. Some of the older boards here have messages that date back to January 1999 so I think these boards are pretty safe.

Just my opinion.
