.. Dorjan couldn't help but let the faint smile spread further across his face. Perhaps what Kazan had been through had settled the other. At the very least, it certainly made him a lot more approachable. Dorjan did realize that he'd need to invest a lot of work into the shifter to get him to the point where he could be trusted fully. For Kazan, there was a strong chance that the worst was over. But the opposite was probably true for Shale. Dorjan did not see it necessary to punish the father for the son.
Similar to Kazan's own attention, Dorjan ignored Shale and his horrible comment. He had a good idea of what to do with Shale, but for now he would let the other be apart from them. His time would come. For now, Kazan was what worried him the most. [b]"Please, go ahead."[/b] His hand moved to stroke Kazan's hair gently, encouraging the other to relax further. [b]"You're safe now, here. I'm going to protect you."[/b] Psychology, of course. Yet it was true. He protected everyone in the mansion from the threats of the outside. ..

( I just had him shift instead of as the question seemed to save on posts. know how ya feel. I posted Shale in the courtyard should you wish to post to the brat.)
nodding the wolf shifted with the prefection he had always shown. still as close to his master as allowed even though he now almost towered over the male, even crouched as he was. Audits back tail tucked he looked pathetic, the strength that once radiated from lupine gone. massive crania lowering submissively in hopes of more pettings. frame relaxing only slightly to his masters reasurance. he had at one time loved and trusted this master and soon perhaps would trust completely once more. shoulder healed but still achy, Kazan sighed softly. wishing to curl his massive frame
on the masters lap but thinking better of it.

the wolf believing what Lord Dorjan said fully, and was thankful indeed. the witch not able to touch him agian.
silent for a moment more Kazan gathers his courage before speaking softly.

now wondering of his tasks and if he was to be banished to slave quarters and manual labor. his mind wondering to the old days with some regets, though he loved his family still more than anything else in the world. his soft bed and the leather collar coming to mind, it always interesting what one would remeber from long ago...

((I was hoping that Chim'd show interest in it (poked her after it). But Dorjan can wrap up with Kazan and check that out. We'll see how that goes. Xp I could always throw one of my newer boys that way.))
.. Dorjan's hand moved gently away from Kazan as he shifted, finding its way back to the offered head without much pause when he was finished shifting. The way in which the other held his body was almost disheartening. It fell more into the category of reassuring to a degree, however. It was easier to judge things when Kazan's attitude was entirely in a certain direction, even if frightened tended to be more unpredictable than other states of mind.
Dorjan's hand continued to move effortlessly across the head in small strokes as his mind wandered a bit. What indeed was he going to do with Kazan right now? The male wasn't in any position to be left alone as far as Dorjan was concerned, and there was certainly the issue of his son that needed to be dealt with - and rather quickly. Poison spread too fast among the ranks to let it sit out for too long unattended. The master vampire was considering his options of placing Kazan under someone else, temporarily at least.
"I'm not sure right now, Kazan. You need to get your strength back, first and foremost." ..
