Hey Tom,
I thought it was neat how your zine did end up toward the back of #328 and how you pointed out in your zine that it probably would (and I hadn't read your zine beforehand)!
Actually, I have put a few of the issues together in the order that I received them. Right off the top of my head, it seems like #307 was put together in the order I received the zines. For awhile though, I've been putting the issues together in sections--mainly just so I can fit the Deadline installments in as the first thing in the issue.
I haven't been doing a great job of it lately, but I also try to separate the zines according to if they have a lot of writing or a lot of art in them. For example, you can pretty much count on Steev and Dale having plenty of artwork. Christine and Carson often are almost all writing. And Dennis, Dan, Brad, and Scott have a real mix of the two. So, I try to alternate between art/writing/art/writing, etc.
Anyhoo, I thought it might be interesting to see what I'm thinking when I put the issues together. Well, maybe not that interesting...
