Subject: Re: WHOSE A BETTER QUATERBACK?

I have a question for you about your remark about that players in this age are scrawny and that there athletism is getting poorer. I think you are wrong. I know that back in the day we had some good or even great teams. But if you really go back and look at the players and there abilities the kids of the these times are much leaner, faster, moblie and strong. The teams in the 80's and early 90's might have a size advantage but they are not more athletic than the kids that are playing today. Ask your self this question how many of the players in the time span that you mention could run 4.4 and 4.3 forties, and can jump over people and snag a ball from a defender. Over the years the game of football has changed and speed kills, so I think that the team now have more athletic ability than the teams of the past. So you might have to ask your self should your boys of the past have tried to play soccer instead.
