I know plenty of people from the past that could run 4.2's could guard any defender 3A or 4A. And yes the kids today are leaner and smaller and maybe a little more agile. But you can thank all of your supplements in about 7 years when your child loses liver function. Besides these kids do not have the discipline to live in the weight room. If they did they would pack on the size and muscle and look like football players. Ya know, your so up and up on these new era players. Line one up with any one of your choice, I guaruntee their bell will get rung and they will not even want to see a football again. And as the women might say size does matter. Football is war. No other definition for it. You have to prepare for it on and off season. Not hanging out and getting drunk or smoking up with their freinds. And that is another point. Drugs are alot cooler now a days then before. And that promotes poor perfomance in anything you do. And just HOW MANY of these kids run 4.3's and 4.4's? We had lineman when I played running 4.4's and 4.5's. I tell you what, go to a horsetrack or dog track and bet on the scrawny unfed horse on the track. You will lose and the thoroughbred will prevail. AHH, this is getting kinda of ignorant now, it is just ashland football. That is all that matters. My original point was that every 5-8 years a group of kids come along like no other. They are always the perfect group. Everything clicks and they do weel and most go to college. And not by you ashland park checkbook. Some people earn a life. Have a good day!
