I don't like saying the 'F'-word, but I think it gets the point across in this situation. I pretty much try not to use foul language.
We'll have to agree to disagree on the babies and beer thing. I look for the humor, but it just isn't there. To me it's like seeing a pic of a baby with a syringe lying next to them while they are sleeping or with a joint propped between their fingers...just not funny.
As for the finances, well, we've been there, we are there, and we work like hell to get our debts paid off. Remember, Ann, we were a young military family once, too. I don't mind people who say "Things are tight because of the holidays" or whatever. What I mind is people who complain about not being able to buy food or other necessities yet they over spend on toys or clothes and/or try to have another baby. Do they honestly think that if they can't afford one they'll be able to afford two?!?!? I also don't care if you over spend, but by God get out there and get a freaking job to take care of your family! Work nights a McDonalds or at a gas station while your dh works during the day. Don't give me the "I can't work because of dc" excuse. Where there's a will, there's a way.
Also, I don't believe in mistakes/accidents when it comes to getting pg. You have sex, you're taking the risk. I don't fault people for it, it's just what I believe. I don't think people are bad or wrong or anything like that, but learn from it. A lot of people don't.
Damn straight I'm opinionated! I know everyone's situation is different. I do speak rather generally, but I don't group everything in one basket. I can only say that if my comments bother people, it must be because they hit a little too close to home. Otherwise, why would it bother them.
